THE PHYSICIANS

            The strengths and reputation of our group is ultimately related to the abilities of the physicians within the group.  Our commitment toward Board Certified Emergency Physicians has created uniformity in the quality of care we provide. This also provides consistency for each physician in knowing that everyone in the group has similar practice patterns.  This consistency is viewed as a distinct advantage for the medical staff members at all facilities staffed by QESI.

            Our physicians have come from a variety of geographical and training backgrounds. This diversity has proven extremely beneficial in providing an infusion of new ideas, concepts and approaches to patient care.  You will find that our group is young, aggressive in their approach to Emergency Medicine, and practice in a manner similar to your training.

            It has been, and continues to be, the belief of the physicians of Qualified Emergency Specialists, Inc. that for the specialty of Emergency Medicine to continue to be successful, we must be more than just "shift workers".  Our group has a strong belief that emergency physicians must be committed not only to their institutions, but to our specialty and to our communities.

MISSION GOALS AND PHILOSOPHY

            Our Mission is to improve health in the Greater Cincinnati area by providing the highest quality emergency care possible.  In order to accomplish this, we must provide the best practice opportunity for our emergency physicians as follows:

• Provide the administrative support to our group and to the hospitals we serve that allows us to sustain this practice opportunity.

• Provide our hospitals and hospital-systems the highest quality of administrative support that is innovative, dedicated and responsive to change.

• Promote the practice of Emergency Medicine and the health of our community by being an advocate for, and involved in, the process of medical education including education to the public, emergency medical services, nursing and allied health professionals, medical students and resident physicians.

• Provide medical direction, education, and advocacy for emergency medical services in our area.

• Provide a corporate and group structure responsive to the needs of our patients, physicians, hospitals, and hospital-systems.  This structure will allow democratic input and involvement of the physicians in their practice of Emergency Medicine.
